JOB DETAILS:

Securitas Security Services USA (Securitas USA) is seeking a qualified security professional to function as a Security Site Supervisor assigned to a high tech account in San Jose.  The Security Site Supervisor position is designed to provide daily support to the assigned Security Coordinator and assist with all assigned projects.  The Security Site Supervisor must have excellent customer service skills and be able to make appropriate business decisions under various security and safety related situations. 

Responsibilities

Security Site Supervisor is responsible for providing daily support to the Security Coordinator of the assigned geographical area.  Also responsible for supervising and leading the security team effort and related activities to the security patrol and supervisory staff.  The Site Supervisor is responsible for recruiting, interviewing and selecting all uniform security officers and shift supervisors for a specific site.  The Site Supervisor will ensure that all Security Shift Supervisors provide and document all training and disiplinary actions as required.  The Security Site Supervisor will respond to all safety, security and medical calls during assigned shift.  The Site Supervisor will be responsible for handling all calls for service in professional manner and documenting all incidents on a daily report form. 

Security Site Supervisor is also responsible for the day to day security and safety operational issues on the assigned site.   The Security Site Supervisor will be responsible for acting in a proactive capacity to ensure safety and security compliance from all site employees and officers.  In addition to supervisory duties, the supervisor will be expected to perform basic security functions to include but not limited to fielding customer service issues (badge access, etc.), assisting with evacuations and major emergencies (ERT Call Outs), perimeter security audits, and basic service requests such as unlocks, lockdowns, escorts, special events and disciplinary standbys.  

Job Requirements

•        Minimum of 4 years of corporate safety and security experience.

•        Minimum of 2 years of security force management / supervisory experience required.

•        Must be completely computer literate and have experience in creating flow charts and presentations.

•        Must have experience in Incident Command System and supervision.

•        Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

•        Excellent customer service skills.

•        Must be detail oriented and work well under pressure.

•        Must be dependable and demonstrate excellent leadership skills.

•        Must be able to effectively multitask and prioritize.

•        Must appear and present themselves professionally.

•        Must be a team player and have the ability to work with minimal supervision.

•        Must have excellent computer skills (MS Word, Email, etc).

•        Must be able to write detailed reports. 

•        Must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record.

•        Must have First Aid, CPR and AED certification.

•        Minimum 2 years of related college courses (Bachelor degree preferred).

•        Must have flexibility to work other shifts or overtime if necessary.

•        Must be available by phone 24X7.

•        Must have a current state guard card.

•        Willing to submit to background procedures including drug screen and
background check.
